The brief

The clients had the luxury of a large space to create their open-plan living space. Their brief was for an inviting ambience designed to bring the family together whatever the time of day. The designer delivered on all counts with a scheme that is not only a pleasure to be in but is highly practical on all levels. The kitchen area features an impressive island that offers generous preparation space together with a lower-level table for informal dining. The island is surfaced in beautiful Gris Silvestre granite, with worktops along the cabinet runs in Silestone quartz and the table in a contrasting oak with an elegant waterfall edge. The colours for the cabinetry, charcoal and stone, blend beautifully with the scheme throughout the interior creating a cohesive palette that’s both timeless and easy to live with.
