The brief

Elegant and timeless sum up this beautiful in-frame design which effortlessly blends a considered mix of materials with a classic colour palette of partridge grey and alabaster modern. With the luxury of a large space the clients were able to indulge in a large statement island that benefits from generous storage and preparation space coupled with a tasteful and striking mix of materials and shapes. Timber is used for the seating area, not only because it is warmer to lean on but also to create a stunning contrast with the lighter granite worktops. Attention to detail is evident throughout this scheme from the mirrored-backed open display shelving which casts a reflection across the space to the gently curved wall cabinets. The finishing touches carry through to the statement pendant lighting over the island and the smart upholstered dining chairs which perfectly complement the grey painted cabinetry.
